About Day & Nite Towing

Started in 1961, Tom Nissan and Day & Nite Towing served the western region of the United States, from Alaska to California. Tom's dedication to hard work, his love for people and an entrepreneur's heart inspired the start of Day & Nite Towing. He built this company on integrity, helpfulness and understanding. "Can't do" was not part of Tom's vocabulary and the reputation of the company was "if it is impossible, call Day & Nite Towing".

Tom passed away on February 11th, 2007 after serving the community in the towing industry for over 46 years. He was a pioneer in the industry who garnered respect from community leaders, employees, and competitors alike, but Tom will be most remembered for his dedication to his customers.

Tom served us for many years rain or shine, snow or ice.

Our sister company, R & T Transport, Inc., has the same home office address as Day & Nite Towing and is administered by the same management and dispatch staffs. R & T Transport, Inc. offers specialized, custom transport services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. With 2 specially equipped toters and a heavy duty flatbed, R & T Transport moves office trailers, construction equipment, bulldozers, forklifts, generators, compressors, pumps, etc. We have necessary  state and city transport and oversize permits, and we can provide pilot cars for transporting extra wides and robocats for tight placements on-site. We do site set-ups, teardowns and relocates. Our lead driver Steve Fader, is the best in the business.
